This page is about you. In order not to waste your valuable time I am asking you five questions about your company. If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions we should talk.

  1. Do you change the management’s team’s focus as often as you pay your
    people?

One of the things that make Entrepreneurs successful is creativity. The entrepreneur’s creativity is a challenge for the management team if the plan is constantly changing. One week we’re focused on a new marketing program that will make us millions the next week the marketing plan is scraped and we’re developing the latest product or service that will revolutionize the world.

  1. Are you tired of being aggravated because your team seldom helps you put
    out the fires?

Having run a business for years I was frustrated I could not get my key managers to be accountable for the things they said they’d get done. The aggravation builds until you explode creating one more fire to put out.

  1. Do you know if you’re generating enough cash to grow your business to your
    expectations?

Growing rapidly sucks the cash out of a business like a fire sucks the oxygen out of the air. Collecting accounts receivable is not a sustainable cash improvement strategy. Cash has little to do with accounting which is historical.

  1. Are you spending most of your time with people who don’t perform instead of
    those that do?

One of the common mistakes made in leadership and management is to help the people who don’t care. Time is spent trying to help people succeed when we know darn well the person we’re helping just does not care. The people that do care watch this cycle happen and instead of giving you 100% of their effort you’re lucky to get 70% or 80%.

  1. In the last 12 months have you tried to initiate a change in your company but
    here you are a year later and nothing’s changed?

The fires keeping you so busy its blocking you from:

  • Working with your team on cost reductions
  • Reducing wasted time in meetings
  • Improving profits
  • Hiring the right people
  • Keeping your team motivated
  • Improving margins
  • Expanding your customer base

The list could go on and on…

So, should we talk? If you’ve answered yes to any of the last five questions, we should talk. But wait, one last thing, see if your company fits the three parts of our profile.

  • You have revenues from $5 to $100 million? (We work with $2 to $5 million if your company is growing or has the desire to change so you can grow 30% or more a year.)
  • You have at least 5 managers? (We will work with teams of 3 to 4 if your company‘s revenue is over $5 million or you have/desire to have a 30% growth rate.)
  • Your company has at least 20 people? (If you don’t have 20 but plan to have 20 to support your 30% growth in the next year, you fit.)
